Tom’s been a customer of ours for a while now, coming to us at first for a full JL Audio system with some fabrication/trim work… This year the car cam back to us to have its engine removed, the bay smoothed (Courtesy of True Paintworks as always) and painted, the engine pulled apart and rebuilt like new..
All bottles were removed, the full loom and lighting loom extended by over two meters and tucked through the cars chassis legs, the subframes and cross members/wishbones etc were all removed and coated plus treated to new oe bush’s all round. True paintworks, we have used these guys since we started our company and every project has just come out perfect, a fantastic link in our chain of the UK’s best automotive wokshops. This one as always didnt let us down. The slam panel was smoothed as the beedy eyed amongst you will notice, a lot of the bulkhead and chassis grommits removed and all four arches were cut and re welded to house the cars new 24k gold plated 16″ BBS RS.
We were made up with how the car came out, Tom was real happy with the work but we arent the only ones.. Seems the judges at the recent Bristol Volksfest had their eyes caught… The car, 1 day out of a 4 month build took Best of show and also Best car in its class at the show, outstanding results for Tom and ourselves.
Less of me chatting along now, heres some shots i got of the finished build..
More shots will be available via the websites gallery, thats all for now!
